20 Jul The Sandy Tam

The new WWW.SANDYTAM.CA  It's finally here!

THE NEW BRAND:    Sandy is creative, fun and dynamic but above all else, she brings spirit and sensitivity to all her projects. We needed to design a logo that would capture all her special qualities - something that would be a direct extension of her personality. What then could be more authentic than taking something penned by the artist herself? We adapted Sandy's signature and matched it with an abstract symbol of a flower blossom. While her signature buzzes with energy, the icon provides a peaceful, light and airy counterpoint. The icon is uniquely Sandy: it is formed by her first and last initials. The "S" in the icon is also the infinity sign and symbolizes how her work captures that special moment and makes it ever lasting --- by Leo Quan, Designer

THE NEW WEBSITE:   White is my favourite colour.  Adding grey was a natural thing to do because black is overrated.  White and grey, in my mind, symbolizes simplicity, fresh, clean and contemporary.  The entire website was designed around this vision.  The rest

just came naturally keeping navigation as simple as possible and emphasizing what's most important to me, the photographs --- by Sandy Tam, Photographer (who decided to design her own website)

Shout outs to... Elton Pao from Flavourstudios for taking my design and making it into reality...  Leo Quan for reminding me of who I am and making sure I stick to it...  Albert Wong for his under-compensated, over-used, highly appreciated IT services... All my friends and couples who have provided me with lots of feedback throughout the design stage.  Thank you for your patience.  It is finally here.  Please enjoy!
